Project Description

The Water Treatment Plant Expansion will include the planning, design, and expansion the City’s Surface Water Treatment Plant from approximately 17 million gallons per day (MGD) to 30 MGD by 2022. The purpose of the project is to provide treated potable water to meet the increasing demand from residential and commercial customers and return the system to compliance with the Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule.
