Project Description

The VenturaWaterPure Project will design and construct treatment and conveyance facilities to augment the City’s potable water supplies with purified local recycled water and groundwater. The purpose of the project is to develop a new local, drought-resilient water supply to enhance the City’s long-term supply reliability, improve the quality of groundwater and delivered supplies, and help protect and improve the ecological resources and beneficial uses of the Santa Clara River Estuary.
