Project Description

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Project will double the treatment capacity of the Weirton Sanitary Board’s wastewater treatment plant from 4 million gallons per day (MGD) to 8 MGD. The purpose of this project is to increase the treatment capacity to meet current and future demand more effectively, including the expected arrival of new industrial customers to the area.
