Water Quality Standards Regulations: Seminole of Florida

Presented are water quality standards in effect for Clean Water Act (CWA) purposes.

EPA is posting these standards as a convenience to users and has made a reasonable effort to assure their accuracy. Also, for each document listed under "Tribe Standards in Effect for CWA Purposes", EPA has made a reasonable effort to identify parts of the standards that are disapproved or are otherwise not in effect for CWA purposes.

Authority to Administer Standards Program

This tribe was granted treatment in a manner similar to a state (TAS) on June 1, 1994.

Tribe Standards in Effect for CWA Purposes

The tribe’s initial water quality standards for the Big Cypress Reservation were approved on September 26, 1997, and for the Brighton Reservation were approved on November 18, 1998. The standards include designated uses, water quality criteria, antidegradation, and other policies and procedures establishing water quality standards for waters of the tribe.

Federally Proposed or Promulgated Standards

At this time, there are no federally proposed or promulgated standards applicable to this tribe.
