EPA's P3 Student Design Competition: Where Science and Creative Genius Meet (May 2016)
This year’s USA National Science & Engineering Festival was a huge event. The convention center in downtown Washington, D.C., was buzzing all weekend long with thousands of people coming to see the fascinating gizmos and gadgets on display by various companies and organizations (and to learn about science, of course).

Sacramento State Team Lands $15,000 Sustainability Research Grant Exit(February 2016)  
A team of Sacramento State students was awarded a $15,000 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to research and develop its project for the 12th annual People, Prosperity and the Planet (P3) Student Design Competition. The students will present their aquaponics/sustainability design at the USA Science and Engineering Festival in Washington, D.C., in mid-April.

EPA Announces Student Innovation Grants Exit(February 2016)  
From farming bugs for fish food to using organic waste for energy, 38 university projects have been named EPA People, Prosperity and the Planet (P3) grant recipients for the first phase of a national environmental sustainability design competition.
