Air Emissions Modeling

2011 Version 6 Air Emissions Modeling Platforms

The 2011v6.0, 2011v6.1, 2011v6.2, and 2011v6.3 emissions modeling platforms are based on versions of the 2011 National Emissions Inventory. These emissions modeling platforms include information needed to support the development of emissions inputs for air quality modeling, including the inventories, ancillary data, and scripts required to process the emissions.

The 2011v6.0 platform was used for pre-proposal analysis of the Cross-State Air Pollution Update Rule, a rule related to interstate transport for the 2008 National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for Ozone. The 2011v6.1 platform was used for the Proposed 2015 National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Ozone. The 2011v6.2 platform was used for the Final 2015 National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for Ozone, the 2011 National Air Toxics Assessment (NATA), the Proposed Cross-State Air Pollution Update Rule, and other special studies. The 2011v6.3 platform was used for the Final Cross-State Air Pollution Rule (CSAPR) Update and for an assessment of ozone transport with respect to the 2015 Ozone NAAQS.
