EPA's Power Sector Modeling in Support of the Notice of Data Availability – Preliminary Interstate Ozone Transport Modeling Data for the 2015 Ozone NAAQS

On December 29, 2016, EPA released the Notice of Data Availability – Preliminary Interstate Ozone Transport Modeling Data for the 2015 Ozone NAAQS, including EPA's power sector analysis for 2023 using IPM v.5.16.

Supplemental Documentation

For the power-sector analysis of the Notice of Data Availability – Preliminary Interstate Ozone Transport Modeling Data for the 2015 Ozone NAAQS, the EPA revised several modeling assumptions in the v.5.16 platform incremental to the IPM v.5.15 Base Case.  To learn more about these changes, see the EPA Base Case v.5.16 for 2015 Ozone NAAQS Transport NODA Using IPM Incremental Documentation.

This supplemental documentation complements the full-fledged modeling documentation available at EPA's Power Sector Modeling Platform v.5.13.

Part of the updates to the v.5.16 Base Case was an updated National Electric Energy Data System (NEEDS).
