This Technical Support Document (TSD) describes EPA’s use of the Integrated Planning Model (IPM) to develop estimates of SO₂ and NO_x emission control costs, projections of future emissions and emission reductions, and projections of capacity of future control retrofits, assuming controls on electricity generating units (EGUs).
