Note Regarding Maricopa County's Correction of Program Deficiencies
At the end of the program evaluation of Maricopa County, Region 9 issued a Notice of Deficiency (NOD) to the County to ensure that the County’s Title V program meets regulatory requirements. The Notice of Deficiency to Maricopa County was published in the Federal Register with an effective date of May 17, 2005. On November 9, 2006, EPA announced that Maricopa County had corrected the deficiencies identified in the NOD, and EPA signed a Federal Register notice resolving the NOD. This notice was published in the Federal Register on November 20, 2006.
