FedCenter.gov provides environmental stewardship and compliance assistance information focused exclusively on the needs of Federal government facilities.
Interagency Task Force on Electronics Stewardship The President charged the Task Force with developing a national strategy for electronics stewardship, with CEQ, EPA, and GSA as the leads. The Task Force has released the National Strategy for Electronics Stewardship.

Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT)
EPEAT is an easy-to-use evaluation tool that allows for the comparison and selection of electronic products based on environmental attributes, in addition to cost and performance considerations. Federal purchasers are required to purchase EPEAT-registered computers, monitors, televisions, and imaging equipment.
EPA's Environmentally Preferable Purchasing (EPP) Electronics Product and Service Information
EPA's EPP program provides resources to assist in the purchasing of environmentally preferable electronics, including: a list of environmental attributes to look for; procurement guidance; tools; case studies; and Web links. The FEC is managed by the EPP Program.
ENERGY STAR
ENERGY STAR is a voluntary labeling program designed to identify and promote energy-efficient products to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. All federal entities, including FEC Partners, are required to enable ENERGY STAR features on their computers and monitors.

Northwest Product Stewardship Council's Guide to Environmentally Preferable Computer Purchasing
To encourage manufacturers to adopt product stewardship practices, the Northwest Product Stewardship Council Work Group has developed a guide to help buyers include product stewardship principles in purchasing criteria and bids.
Responsible Purchasing Network (RPN)
This website offers a variety of green purchasing guides including one on imaging equipment. These guides provide information on how to buy products that are environmentally preferable, and include information on how to evaluate the product which will best support the needs of your organization.
U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Sustainable Facilities Tool, Green Procurement, Office Electronics
GSA's SF Tool website has a section for green procurement of office electronics, which provides information on procurement requirements and GSA schedules for electricity-consuming products commonly used in an office environment, such as computers and imaging equipment.

The GSA eLibrary site is part of the GSA Federal Acquisition Service that allows federal agencies to purchase print management services and devices in a more efficient manner. The website provides a list of contractors for a variety of print management support.

This site includes information about electronics waste, and recycling including statistics on the management of used and end-of-life electronics, regulations and standards for handling electronics, and resources for finding an electronics recycler.
Third Party Certification Standards for Electronics Recyclers
There are existing recycling certification programs that EPA and the FEC believe advance environmentally safe practices and include standards for use in third party certification of such efforts.
