The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a final rule (PDF) (5 pp, 212 K, published October 24, 2018) to relax the federal volatility (RVP) standard applicable to gasoline supplied to the 5 Louisiana parishes of East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, Ascension, and Iberville (the Baton Rouge area) from 7.8 pounds per square inch (psi) to 9.0 psi during the summer ozone season.​
