EPA Solar Utilization in Higher Education Networking and Information Sharing Group
Background
Colleges and universities are increasingly interested in deploying solar technologies to power their campuses. However, financing, request for proposal (RFP), contract, administrative, and policy barriers can get in the way of project development. To address this problem, EPA convened a networking and information sharing group of higher education stakeholders to discuss and identify solar project development barriers. Currently, EPA is using the input received from stakeholders to scope technical and non-technical solutions to meet the most pressing sector needs.
