Hazardous Waste Permits for Facilities in the Great Lakes Region (Region 5)
EPA's Region 5 or the Great Lakes Region collaborates with and assists Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin with the implementation of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) hazardous waste program. This includes issuing the federal portion of a RCRA permit for any portion of the regulations that these states have not been authorized.
