This document is the same checklist included in the full Indoor airPLUS Construction Specifications. This fillable PDF provides a stand-alone checklist for the home energy rater that can be used to verify the requirements for building an Indoor airPLUS labeled home. Be sure to refer to the full Construction Specifications for complete details of each checklist item, as well as the Indoor airPLUS Policy Record which may contain clarifications and updates since the latest published revision of the Specifications.

How to Find Indoor airPLUS Compliant Low-Emission Products (PDF) (10 pp, 618 K, Oct. 2015)

This resource was developed to help builders, designers, and Home Energy Raters find products that are compliant with the Indoor airPLUS Construction Specification requirements for low-emission materials.

Indoor airPLUS Current Policy Record (PDF)(36 pp, 950 K, Dec. 2019, EPA 402-K19-006)

This policy record was updated on December 2019, and contains all official program updates on policy issues identified, under review, and/or resolved at the time of release of the most recent revision to the Indoor airPLUS Construction Specifications (Rev. 04, February 2018). Future updates will include changes, clarifications, and refinements that will be included into the next revision of the Construction Specification and Verification Checklist.

Indoor airPLUS Exemption Request Policy and Process v1.0 (PDF)(1 p, 64K, May 2017)

This Exemption Request Policy and Process document (active as of May 1, 2017) provides the opportunity for partners to request an exemption where a project(s) cannot meet one or more of the requirements or processes outlined in the program documents. Exemption requests may apply to a new interpretation, policy, or procedure, either for a specific project or broader application. Exemption requests should always reference the Specification Item in question. If a question arises that is not specifically addressed by the Indoor air PLUS Construction Specifications, a request for clarification can also be made following this process.
