Navajo Nation: Cleaning Up Abandoned Uranium Mines

Federal Plans: Related Documents

In 2008, five federal agencies developed a coordinated Five-Year Plan to Address Impacts of Uranium Contamination in consultation with Navajo Nation EPA (NNEPA). The plan was updated in 2014 to build on the work done in first five years and to address the most significant risks to human health and the environment.

The documents below include the current (2014) and previous (2008) Five-Year Plans to address impacts of uranium contamination, as well as contacts, resources, fact sheets and progress reports.
