Final Rule: Definition of “Waters of the United States” – Addition of an Applicability Date to 2015 Clean Water Rule

The 2015 Clean Water Rule has been replaced by the Navigable Waters Protection Rule.

On January 31, 2018, the Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of the Army (the agencies) finalized a rule adding an applicability date to the 2015 Rule defining “waters of the United States.” The final rule was published in the Federal Register on February 6, 2018.
