The Federal Register notice listed below provides background about the establishment and revision of the basic aspects of the pesticide registration program. It was published in the Federal Register on May 4, 1988 and sets out in Part 152 which products are considered pesticides, lists exemptions and describes procedures for registration, classification, cancellation and suspension. It also codified data requirements in Part 158.
