PRN 93-8: Labeling Statement Prohibiting Application to Water; Amendment to PR Notice 93-3

This notice adds one paragraph to P.R. Notice 93-3, which requested registrants to amend product labeling to include a new labeling statement prohibiting application of a pesticide to water for certain products. The purpose of this change is twofold:

  • to permit registrants to omit the phrase "For terrestrial uses" from the labeling statement specified in PR Notice 93-3 when a product is registered only for terrestrial uses; and
  • to allow registrants to use a simpler statement that consumers will more readily understand on products registered only for residential use.
