Air Quality Data

Air quality monitoring

  • PM2.5 Ambient Air Monitoring Networks process reported PM data, including visibility and wildfire/smoke monitoring.
  • PM Supersites is an ambient monitoring research program intended to address the scientific uncertainties associated with fine particulate matter. Program goals focus on fine particulate characterization, methods testing, and support to health effects and exposure studies.

Designations

  • PM Designations: Find information on the process EPA, the states, and the tribes follow to designate areas as "attainment" (meeting) or "nonattainment" (not meeting) the PM standards.
  • Green Book: listings of areas designated nonattainment for each NAAQS pollutant. It includes current designation and classification status, area maps, reports, and Federal Register notices.
