Abandoned Mine Lands - Abandoned Mine Lands (AMLs) present serious threats to human health and the environment. This Web site identifies EPA's resources related to the range of environmental risks and challenges from AMLs as well as risk management approaches.

Contaminated Sediments - This area contains information regarding contaminated sediments as a significant environmental problem that impairs the uses of many water bodies and is often a contributing factor to the over 3,200 fish consumption advisories that have been issued nationwide.

Groundwater - EPA has published key groundwater guidance documents and other selected reports on groundwater which are used frequently in the Superfund program.

Soil Screening Guidance - This area contains information regarding addressing environmental (ecological) effects that may result from contamination at Superfund sites.
