Rule Summary

EPA has denied a petition to remove chlorsulfuron from the list of chemicals subject to reporting under section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA). EPA reviewed the available data on this chemical and determined that chlorsulfuron does not meet the deletion criterion of EPCRA section 313(d)(3) due to its toxicity to aquatic plants.

Rule History

On May 18, 2012, EPA received a petition from DuPont Crop Protection (DuPont), Technology Sciences Group Inc. (TSG) requesting EPA to delete chlorsulfuron from the TRI chemical list.
