Summary

Berry Petroleum Company, LLC, has requested a modification to their Brundage Canyon Area Permit. This Area Permit authorizes the disposal of Class II wastes associated with oil and gas production, for the purposes of enhanced oil recovery in Uintah County, Utah. The proposed modification updates the injection fluid to include produced Natural Gas Liquid (NGL) and gas, the calculation of its maximum allowable injection pressure, and requires separate monitoring and reporting of produced water, NGL and gas.

Proposed Action:  The EPA proposes to issue the Area Permit modification as summarized above.
