Underground Injection Control (UIC)

UIC Permit for Oooguruk Unit, North Slope, Alaska

Below is EPA's underground injection control (UIC) permit for the Oooguruk Unit, located approximately 5.7 miles offshore in the Beaufort Sea, near the mouth of the Colville River, North Slope of Alaska. The permittee is authorized to inject non-hazardous industrial waste utilizing up to two Class I injection wells into the Torok Sand Formation.
