Project Description

The Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project will replace the outdated metering system with new AMI meters that can be read automatically for approximately 130,000 water meters across the system’s service area. The purpose of the project is to replace outdated, labor-intensive meter reading methodology with an automated system. The project will improve efficiency, reduce meter reading labor costs and vehicle expenses, and offset capital costs.
