Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Partnership

Steps to Becoming a CHP Partner

  1. Participation in the CHP Partnership begins when you submit and EPA approves the CHP Partnership Agreement (DOC) (3 pp, 478 K).
  2. After EPA receives the Partnership Agreement and your Partnership is approved, you will receive a welcome email providing an introduction to the Partnership. EPA will also contact the primary contact you designate to introduce ourselves and answer any questions.

Once your organization becomes a Partner, the time and resource investment on your part is minimal. However, Partners are required to maintain:

  • An organizational representative as the primary point of contact to EPA’s CHP Partnership.
  • A organizational website URL (if no website URL exists, the primary contact may provide a LinkedIn profile URL for use as the organization’s URL in the Partner List).

If you need to make updates to either of these after becoming a Partner, please contact us at chp@epa.gov or (703) 373-8108.
