EnviroAtlas

Resources and Publications

EnviroAtlas provides written resources to introduce users to different components of EnviroAtlas research and tools, including materials for educators, fact sheets, and peer-reviewed publications.

Educational Materials

EnviroAtlas tools can be used in formal and informal educational settings. To help educators use these tools, we have created ready-made lesson plans for every grade level, from kindergarten through undergraduate.  They include four lesson modules, student handouts, supplementary activities, and teacher scripts, all of which align with all 50 state science educational standards.

Go to the Educational Materials page to learn more and access lesson plans.

Fact Sheets

Fact Sheets are a vital resource for EnviroAtlas users. Project Fact Sheets provide broad, high-level context for the project and its major components. Data Fact Sheets provide detail, guidance, and references for the 400+ data layers featured in the Interactive Map.
