The United States Federal Strategy for Addressing the Global Issue of Marine Litter

From the introduction: The United States prioritizes responsible and sound environmental policies, both at home and abroad. Various agencies throughout the federal government are leading global efforts to prevent and remove litter from entering our oceans. On October 11, 2018, President Trump signed the Save Our Seas Act, which directed the U.S. Government to continue its critical ongoing work of addressing the growing problem of marine litter in our oceans, both domestically and abroad.
