AVERT Tutorial: Getting Started – Download Regional Data File(s)

Most users of AVERT will need to download one or more default AVERT Regional Data Files, which are updated annually by EPA with data from CAMD’s Air Markets Program and contain hourly load data and unit-level generation and emissions data.

In this section of the AVERT training, you will learn how to download the appropriate Regional Data File for your use.

Note: Videos in this training module were developed using a previous version of AVERT with different regions. Most of the features and functionality of the latest version of AVERT are the same as shown here, but a few aspects, including the AVERT regions, may differ. EPA plans to update the videos; we apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime. For more details about AVERT’s current features and assumptions, see the current AVERT User Manual.
