Power Sector Emissions, Operations, and Environmental Data
EPA’s Clean Air Markets Division (CAMD) has monitored and collected emissions and operating data from power plants since 1990. CAMD has also gathered ambient data to track changes in the environment since the mid-1980s. Click on the images below to view information on the major data tools and resources available from the Clean Air Markets Programs.
For a recorded introduction to the suite of data and tools available from CAMD, please see the April 2020 AskCAMD slides Exit or recording. Exit

CAMD's EmPOWER Air Data Challenge
Each academic year, CAMD hosts a challenge inviting researchers at universities or think tanks to submit innovative ideas for use of CAMD’s Power Sector Emissions Data, Clean Air Status and Trends Network (CASTNET) data, and Long Term Monitoring Network (LTM) data.
Current Status: CAMD is now accepting applications for the 3rd annual EmPOWER Air Data Challenge. Applications are due February 22, 2021. Please visit the website for more details.
