Green infrastructure is a cost-effective, resilient approach to managing wet water impacts. Green infrastructure reduces and treats stormwater at its source while delivering environmental, social and economic benefits. At Superfund sites, green infrastructure projects help prevent flooding and erosion as well as water-borne transport of contaminants.
