September 26th, 2019
The purpose of this 1-day meeting held on the EPA campus in Research Triangle Park, NC was to share information with EPA staff about the current state of ambient and deposition monitoring as well as ongoing and future research projects. The Office of Research and Development (ORD), Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS), and EPA’s Region 4 attended the meeting. The CASTNET participants included EPA’s Office of Atmospheric Programs (OAP), National Park Service (NPS), Bureau of Land Management Wyoming State Office (BLM-WSO), and the CASTNET contractors. The presentations provided an opportunity to share research related to improving CASTNET measurement methods, modeling needs, new technologies, tools for communicating results, and opportunities for future collaboration. The presentations provide information that reflected the current state of programs and research in September 2019 and should not be considered final or cited. These presentations are shared for informational purposes only.
See below for individual presentations from the summit, listed in the order they were presented.
